BioChemCalc
Overview
This tool allows researchers to convert raw mass spectra into clean, editable PowerPoint (.pptx) slides.
It helps streamline the process of preparing visually unified figures for presentations, reports, and publications.
Who is it for?
- Researchers who want consistent formatting across multiple spectra slides
- Users who need to edit spectrum colors, axis labels, or layout directly in PowerPoint
- Anyone preparing publication-ready or educational spectral figures
Why PowerPoint Output?
PowerPoint enables flexible editing and annotation. Compared to static image exports,
.pptx output lets users change line colors, resize plots, add text, or adjust axis scales freely.
This makes it ideal for fine-tuning data presentation.
Input Format
The tool accepts spectral data in the following format:
m/z_intensity-m/z_intensity-...
For example:
84.080777_999-114.102601_221-130.086305_606
Each spectrum will be rendered on a separate slide in your final PowerPoint file.
Coming Soon
- Automatic annotation of neutral loss peaks
- Isotope peak suggestion features
These additions will further enhance the tool’s ability to support compound interpretation and visualization.
